Roberto Cavalli

The mood was exuberant as Roberto Cavalli walked the red carpet outside his own shop at 20 Sloane Street in Knightsbridge posing by thewindow for the paparazzi. Inside, stars such as Rolling Stones guitarist, Ronnie Wood, sipped cocktails in a celebration of the opening of the new Roberto Cavalli’s new flagship store. The new store previously occupied by Fendi has a lot more space than the former 181 Sloane Street address. In a unique twist of fate Fendi swapped premises with Cavalli and is now at number 20 opposite. Star guests arrived at the Fendi boutique opening by black Maserati for Fendi prestige cars and were treated to Royal College of Arts exhibits.

Swinging over to Conduit Street, edgy boutique, Layers, ran a cool party packed with creative fashionistas knocking back prosecco. As expected nearly all the guests wore black and white, Layer’s signature colour palette. Fashion Mode this year ran their show’s after party at the Merah nightclub in Wells Street, a stone’s throw from Oxford Street. There was some good live music and the Laurent Perrier champagne wasn’t at all bad either!

We took a short drive back to Sketch for the Layers after party where there was more London Fashion Week fashionistas and quite a lot of fashion students partying on in the Parlour. London Fashion Week is renowned for its parties and this Saturday night was no exception.
