Aquascutum men’s

Our Wednesday morning at London Fashion Week’s Menswear Day began with an excellent presentation in the Navy Board Rooms with Aquascutum’s beautifully crafted raincoats, suits, jackets and trousers. Champagne flowed for two hours!

Us at the KTZ show

One of the best shows in the afternoon was KTZ at the British Fashion Council Space.

KTZ menswear

KTZ showed both inventive cool mens’ and womenswear. Check out their long fascinating boutique at 86 Golborne Road. Like Aquascutum, KTZ, there’s a full review in our Fashion Fabulous London 2012 edition that comes out on October 27th.

A Child of the Jago

It was a bit of an East London  trek to A Child of the Jago show that took place in Wilton’s Music Hall, the world’s oldest surviving grand music hall in a back alley just off Cable Street. This was a wonderful setting for Joseph Corre and Simon “Barnzley” Armitage’s creations. Models strutted along the stage and down stairways to an audience that included Dame Vivienne Westwood. In the gallery, photographers and more audience looked down eagerly.  A crowded after party took place in the music hall’s Mahogany Bar that dates back to 1727. Afterwards, we returned to Park Lane for an extremely high decibel KTZ  after party that went late into the night.
