No matter how busy we are at Fashion Fabulous, we always love researching and previewing the up and coming collections and trends from the absolutely excellent shows at London Fashion Week . With Autumn Winter collections arriving in the stores in the next few weeks, these are just a few of our star picks to seek out.

We had to get up at the crack of dawn for the very first show at Somerset House to see Antoni and Alison. Their shop is  based at 43 Roseberry Avenue, near Holborn, and their show true to form was all very much about prints involving juxtapositions of conflicting ideas that creatively work effectively together. Hot on t-shirts, dresses and knitwear, their crystal print dresses are going to be especially popular for wearing glitz without the bling!

Take some Vivienne Westwood and a touch of Alexander McQueen shake it up, and out comes Corrie Nielsen with some great tartans and dramatic black severe attention-grabbing dresses. Talking to fashionistas after the show, the consensus was that it was very much Westwood- influenced which is not surprising as she did work for Dame Vivienne in 2000-2006.

Felder and Felder are stocked at Browns Focus and Liberty, and the two identical twin sisters Annette and Daniela are producing vibrant clothes with a great affinity for the music scene. Look out for chunky knitwear with fun fringing on the shoulders. Alexandra Burke is a big fan! Watching the show keenly also was Harold Tillman, Chairman of the British Fashion Council.

At hip label PPQ, the front row stars included Pixie Lott, Lisa Snowdon, and Jo Wood. There were great thick woollen coats with wide belts and big collars. We predict the dresses as shown in the pic are going to be a big hit for next Christmas.

We travelled from Moscow to Beijing at Somerset House when we saw the Issa show. Amongst our favourites were the wool cashmere military coats with gold buttons and prints inspired by Faberge eggs. By the time we reached Beijing we were treated to art deco dresses with scalloped hems and oriental influenced blue dresses.

Spijkers en Spijkers showed dresses in satin and silk mulberry purples at Vauxhall Fashion Scout at the Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden.  These were teamed with burnt orange tops  – a great colour combination for autumn winter.  Feather trimmings glammed it up further in this birds of paradise collection.
