??????????Emilio del la Morena’s runway was just one of the many fashion shows where audiences enthusiastically filmed, photographed and instagramed  catwalk finales. As mentioned in the first episode of our coverage of London Fashion Week Fashion Fabulous reviews over 1000 London shops, and heavily tracks all the  labels that we think have potential for meteoric rise. Of course, London Fashion Week is a superb showcase for the hugely marketed labels like Vivienne Westwood, Burberry, and Paul Smith to name but a few – but we want to highlight perhaps less familiar names to the savvy fashion shopper opening up more avenues of choice!

??????????In the case of Emilio de la Morena we were very impressed indeed with the draped velvet alongside shimmering jersey fashioned into heading bodycon dresses.

The Giles collection was full historical and gothic references. Sashes, bows, and capes accompanied knickerbockers and frock coats. Ruffles were dramatically used on neck lines and sleeves. Located at Central Saint Martins, Kendall Jenner was watched by supermodel Cara Delevingne and a star studed front row that included Dailsy Lowe, Jaime Winstone and Gwendoline Christie.

DSCN5715-1If your mantra is location, location, location, then The Middle Temple near the Embankment was a splendid 16th Century venue for newcomer to London Fashion Week, Royal Fashion Day. Amongst the brands catwalked were Luca Michelle, Reka Orosz, Elena Rul, and Innu. Between runways, champagne and cocktails were served.

DSCN5727-1Danielle Romeril took a space on the terrace of Somerset House to produce a presentation featuring a warrior wardrobe collection of blanket wraps and asymmetric tartan skirts edged in leather using a technique originating from the Samurai.

TogaAW15-1The TOGA collection featured an array of relaxed easy going daywear. Neutral colours were given a lift with shots of shocking pink!

??????????The final show of London Fashion week, H by Hakaan Yildirim showed tiger prints looking great in black and silver carried through to oversize fur coats. We liked the corset tops given a twist with lace-up sides. Cropped trousers with beaded high neck fitted tops will surely be a big hit for eveningwear in either red or green.
